Stephanie Rose is a Peruvian-American cinematographer based in Phoenix, Arizona. She specializes in documentaries and branded docs, and her clients include Netflix, Google, Bravo, Bloomberg, and the New York Times.
She holds an MA in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she studied as a 2013 Marshall Scholar.
In addition to her industry work, Stephanie has championed grassroots media creation throughout her career. She co-founded ¡Wáchale!, a people's cinema spotlighting queer Latin American films in Phoenix; served as Unit Production Manager on Apache Leap, a feature film shot on the San Carlos Apache reservation with 80% Apache cast and crew; and taught cinematography to BIPOC women and non-binary folks through Made in Her Image.
Deeply curious about the realms of the unseen, Stephanie is also a certified death doula and a dedicated student of indigenous dreamwork traditions.
